Alyssa Rawls is a graphic designer from Thomaston, Georgia who will be graduating with honors and receiving her BA in Art with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in philosophy. She specializes in graphic designs, concentrating on branding and marketing. She combines her ethical studies with intentional design to create a strong sense of branding centered around emotion and feeling. As she finishes her school career, she plans to continue to grow her freelancing business while pursuing a professional career in graphic design.

LET'S GET DEEPER
My career started in the seventh grade. My computer teacher, a person I owe an immense amount of credit for my creative spirit, assigned a project where we had to create a PowerPoint presentation over our dream job. At this point in my life, I wanted to be a lawyer. Luckily, that didn't work out. He came over and told me to do some research into graphic design. I spent hours researching, looking into careers, learning to fall in love with art. From that moment on, I knew exactly what I wanted in life.

At Georgia College, I dug deeper into my understanding of intentional design. I picked up a philosophy degree that gave me the opportunity to learn the importance of ethics in my work. I started to merge these two major parts of my education into one, working to combine my ethical studies with design theory.
